Finishing Ribs
Trim excess material from ribs, using a bandsaw. Sand flush.
Sand corners in line
with top and bottom centrelines.
Lining
Trim rib lining with bevel on inner side.
Trim to length and bend to fit.
Notch corners of blocks to receive ends of linings. Glue lining pieces and clamp with clothes
pins.
Preparing Peg Box
Drill out peg box, leaving 6 - 7 mm at base. Chisel out remaining excess material.
